Definition of disease:
Clear Lens Extraction, or Clear Lens Extraction, may be a better option for presbyopic or severely nearsighted patients than LASIK, PRK, or LASEK. It is also called intraocular lens replacement for presbyopia.
A clear lens extraction is similar to a cataract operation, except that the lens removed is a clear, non-cataract lens (without cloudiness), and is performed only to relieve or reduce your dependence on glasses.
👈 Surgical method:
The technique is similar to cataract surgery. The procedure usually takes only 10 to 15 minutes, and although you will be admitted to the hospital for this procedure and it is essentially an outpatient procedure, the two eyes must be operated on on two separate days, at least a few days apart. Most patients will see a significant improvement in their vision the day after the procedure. It may take up to a few weeks to judge the final results of your vision, and until then you may have mild symptoms such as blurred vision, seeing halos around objects, glare from light, or a slight foreign body sensation in your eye.
You will usually be able to drive and return to work within a day or two, but it is your doctor who will give the final approval depending on your vision condition. This lens, which is chosen as a replacement for your natural lens, is an artificial and permanent lens and will not need to be replaced for the rest of your life.

👈 Postoperative care:
Following surgery, it is very important to use prescribed eye drops. You should also wear a protective eye covering while sleeping and sunglasses during the day to protect your eyes. Do not rub your eyes.
For the first week of recovery, avoid strenuous activities such as exercising or lifting heavy objects. Also, be careful not to get any dirt or water in your eyes, as this can lead to infection. Blurred vision is normal for the first few days to weeks after surgery.
